hey guys just wanted to share some info.
The Sweetsville fakies are actually BARBIE. Kelly to be exact. Around 2003-2004 Mattel tried to completely change the Kelly line and turn them into fat-headed mutants reminiscent of Hey Arnold. Collectors and kids alike screamed in horror and ran away, and Mattel quickly swept the embarrassment behind them and went back to oldschool Kelly.
Cute new look my $%&..
I believe there were six different Sweetsville ponies (at least four that I am 100% sure of) and they were originally scented but none of the ones I've found second hand have still had the scent. The ponies grew on me but the dolls still freak me out.
As for my other fakies, yeah I don't know what all of these are:
G3 clones:
bodies are made of such terrible plastic that they're already breaking down and turning brown, sweating sticky stuff that catches lint like an elaborate pony fly trap. Their symbols are STICKERS. yes, stickers! Each came with this cape but I lost the other.

CERAMIC G3 fakie ($6 at biglots) if found second hand this could be pure white or any number of sticky colors.
G3 McDonalds fakie? I have no idea where this came from, except that I received it from a US ebay seller in a lot. G1-style eyes and a McDonalds mold body. Molded tail.
Others:
adorable fakies similar to G3s. pliant plastic but seems a lot more study and well-made than most fakies. thick, nice manes and rooted tails. Each pony has a different symbol. Babies are about the size of a G3 baby (of the two pictured here, the white one is the same size as Baby Honolulu while the purple one is about a cm taller). Eyes nearly identical to G1 eyes. Heads turn freely. Giant green momma is the same good plastic but has significantly less hair by volume than her smaller counterparts. Comparable in size to a styling pony.
Fakie lanard fakies!
They look like the little Lanards from the 90's, but they're actually not. These are much thinner plastic that is deteriorating like the G3 fakies mentioned above. So soft and pliant they barely stand on their own - the rubber they're made out of honestly feels like a water squirting toy. Yellow one *may* have glown in the dark in the past.
Are these what you guys are calling WalGreens ponies? These came from a thrift store and I have no idea what they were originally. One has pony beads in her hair (not pony shaped, just the plastic beads) and the other doesn't. Both have .. embroidery thread? in their manes and tails. I will agree this is less messy than tinsel! Wherever they got this mold I don't know, but the pink one has had both her back hooves filled in with extra plastic, and the right one has a stamp that says "MADE IN" and "CHINA" carved in below it. lol. high quality stuff right here.
Something creepy. It's legs are in such a weird position it looks more like a reanimated corpse than an actual walking pony. Eyes are glass with painted spider eyelashes. Simply marked "L-04-181" "MADE IN CHINA" ..yeah it scares me a little.
Teeny tinys. Baby pony in for size comparison. I've seen these little unis MOC with something else, and I believe the purple one comes in a plastic case similar to the DG babies? Not sure though. I like the little dalmatian ponies though, lol.
..I don't know what this is but I want more. She used to have terrible rooted hair which I removed so I could clean her up and reroot her. It was similar to Firefly's hair color but .. thin and nasty feeling. I've seen at least two more of these so I have no idea how many were made but this isn't the only one.
last but not least..
AWWWWWWWWW.
I don't know what these are either (came in same ebay lot mentioned above) but they're ADORABLE. I'm assuming they're modern because the way the hair is looks like it came out of the package that way, and the seller sold them to me in a lot of G3s with a Pretty Petz case. They're so cute! they've got that "I'm a kitten in the pound that needs to be adopted because I'm scheduled to be put to sleep tomorrow" look of adorable pleading.
