Ok, I know at least a few of us are doll collectors. If this thread sees enough action, I might sticky it so that we can have our own mini version of the Dollhouse forum at the Arena.
I have three ball jointed dolls...a Soom Smoky Day Gena, a Dollzone Wing, and a Dollzone Jing. I also have a random collection of other fashion dolls including a Kitty Collier (by Tonner), a couple Bratz, a Barbie mermaid, a few other random mermaids....um....I forget what else. *shakes fist at boxes containg all posessions* But yeah, I like dolls. :3
I just recently picked up a Juku Dolls Jun at Target, and I highly recommend the Juku dolls. I started a thread about them at the Dollhouse, if anyone is interested in her specifically.
So...what dolls do you guys have? Kaoskat, I know you've got some. I was just drooling on photos of your Pullip girl. And I know a few of you other people have dolls too. Tell me about them! Photos are always welcome, of course. I'll dig up some shots of my BJDs when i get motivated.

I have Zoey and Little Kat! They are the best dolls ever! Especially Zoey! I just love her to pieces! She has this totally adorable little face that can look so sweet and so mischievous at the same time. I never actually liked dolls but I kept seeing Pullips in everyone's siggies and avvies and I finally had to ask about them. Then I went to PullipStyle and looked at them and I so had to have one. They were just so cute and nothing like the Barbies or baby dolls that I disliked so much. So I picked Zoey and bought her. I have plans to get her a new wig and new eye chips but I need to finish paying for her first (I used needing to keep our credit card active as an excuse to get her right away). In spite of months of staring at and wanting one of these dolls before ever even asking about them, I was really worried that once she got here I'd quickly regret spending so much on some doll. It's been about 11 days now since she arrived and I'm totally addicted to her. If I lost interest right this second, I've had so much fun with her the last 10 days, I've gotten my money's worth. And there's totally no chance of that happening! I love her and look forward to getting her some new friends in the future. She and Little Kat even got a room. They don't have beds yet, but I'm working on it. One of my favorite things to do is get her down and pose her on the bed to watch tv with me. She as a totally cute "watching tv" pose. That and I like making her talk to and annoy my husband. She likes to inch closer to him then leeeeeean over and stick her face in front of his DS. *grins* Then when he gives us dirty looks she throws her little hand up and turns her giant head away and tells him to talk to the hand. *nods* Zoey is bratty.... Anyway I think I'm babbling now. She just gets me so excited and I could talk about her forever. Zoey with Little Kat. Zoey in her room all decorated for Christmas in the best dress I've made so far holding her new teddy bear. And in her new bikini that I finished last night because it's just too cute! And some of my favorites of her so far in another dress I made. (lol I'm broke so I've made most of her clothes)

I used to have a monster amount of collector Barbies. I sold them for a down payment on where we live now. Now I'm down to my favorite 15 CB MIB. Most are sentimental or ones Adam gave me & would pitch a pissy bitchfit if he found out I sold them. I have yeah the occasional fashion doll (Barbie-esque) I pick up here or there. I have a few porcelins my great aunty Grace gave me. My favorite is a super old porcelin doll my ex-boyfriend found in a old abandoned house next to a field he was deer hunting in 7 years ago. It's body was cloth & has long since rotted away. So it's just her head & limbs. There is a doll restorer who lives down the street from me who I have been meaning to get to. The doll is beautiful, just needs some TLC. Hopefully I'm getting a Tonner this Christmas. One of the Alice in Wonderlands. I don't have any Pullips or any other BJD dolls for that matter. They are so cute though! I'm afraid I'll get sucked into the vortex of no return if I buy one & spend every last penny I have!

Oh my gosh, ditabee! You just totally reminded me of Mary! I can't believe I totally forgot about her! I love her to death! I didn't like her at first but I needed a doll for my Wednesday Addams costume 2 Halloweens ago. We went to the thrift store and picked up an old looking doll with porcelin head, hands, and feet and a cloth body. I got her home and tossed her outfit into black dye and ripped her little blonde head off and tossed it in too. The dye didn't really take to the hair so well. It came out a grayish-greenish-brownish color. It suited her though. Her hair was nasty and frizzy looking but it actually recurled nicely. I painted all her porcelin parts white and gave her a creepy face. Then I stitched her neck up. After working so hard on her, I became really attached. Her dress fits just so that I can shove her head into it and make her look normal and then rip it off again to scare children. I love my crazy headless doll so much. I don't know why her name is Mary either. It just is. Mary, my headless darling. And Zoey again because I spent a couple hours recurling each curl to get rid of the frizzies she was developing last night and I bought her a new outfit this morning. Then spent about 30 minutes altering her new clothes because apparently Barbie is too fat and her clothes fall off Zoey. I never dreamed Barbie woud ever manage to be too fat for anything.

WATTTT?! Barbie too fat?! Haha that's new! I'm jealous of all of Zoey's clothes! Wish I was that tiny to raid her closet. You did a great job making her outfits Kat! Especially on that winter dress with the white fur trim. Her white silky dress is super pretty & sweet too-another fave! I love Mary! The name Mary suits her beautifully. Very old timey. My sister collects Living Dead Dolls if you are familiar with them. My mom is terrified of going in my sisters bedroom where she keeps them all. haha Mary reminds me slightly of LLD with the creepy element she has going on.

They are awesome Regina! I want a BJD too! I want one from Dream Of Doll. Those are all so amazing. I looked at bunches of ones that were suggested and I liked those best. I'm not sure if I want one of the D.O.I.s or a D.O.T. yet. I figure since I can't afford it right now anyway, I can just decide later.

Dood....Acheron's dreadwig is AWESOME!! How's it put together? It looks like the dreads are sewn onto the furwig? Or are they dreadfalls? I've seen that yarn in stores before...and Sid could use some new dreads. *ponders* EDIT: Durr, I never posted pics of my dolls. Prepare to be picspammed!! Lenore, my first BJD, is a Soom Smoky Day Gena. She's so gorgeous. <3 I've got way too many pics of her. Siddhartha, my DZ Wing. Disregard his lack of eyebrows and whatnot. My first attempt at his faceup was a failure, and I never bothered to take photos. So these old ones will do. I don't have that wig anymore, sadly. It fell apart. :/ Bonus kitty! *pets Spike* My lil guy Piper, a DZ Jing. Also sans faceup. And yes, gamers, that is indeed a tiny Master Chief from Halo that's he's holding. ^_^ I don't really have photos of my other dolls. I fail with pictures, and BJDs sometimes make it easy because of their sheer beauty, but other dolls aren't always as cooperative.

o.0 She's TINY! Does she have elbow joints and all that? Seems so fragile, but I love the tinyness. I demand more photospam of her.
