Okay, so we just had a bit of a bizarre 'close encounter' just now. I was going upstairs to go into the bathroom when I heard a weird fluttering noise. So I quickly took a peek and noticed something crouched near my bath taps. I called my mum and guess what we found?
A Swift! No seriously, a little Swift flew in through my bathroom window (we always leave it open) and decided to take a rest on my bath.
If your wondering, he's okay my mum picked him up (with no trouble, which seems bizarre considering this is a wild bird) and let him out the back garden and he flew off.
I have no idea why the little guy decided to fly inside though. I know at the moment all the swifts and stuff are migrating as I think I saw a flock of them a few days ago.

I had a bird in my room once, at the house we used to live in. I walked in, and noticed a bit of blood on my wall. I had no clue what it was from, though I figured it had something to do with my cat. I then noticed an odd shape behind the step stool I kept in my room. I shined a flashlight on the shape, and it shined on a little black eye watching me! Poor bird must have been dragged in by the cat, and I figure he tried to fly away while in my room, hitting the wall at some point, hence the blood. He was alive, but scared. My dad carried him outside, and he flew off. Can't say whether he actually survived long after that... the stress and injuries might have caused him to keel over later on.
