Does anyone have an idea of how one would re-tail a chap mei baby unicorn? Their heads are not removable.

I don't know if I should be suggesting this suggestion
and I should tell you that I do not even do customs at all, just general craft projects
But if the tail is already missing and thats why re-tailing (no ideas on tail removal)
(also idea will only work right if the baby chap meis are all hollow inside) I would try tying a knot in the tail fiber that is a little larger than the tail hole and pushing and working at the knot with a toothpick until you manage to force it (since hair fiber is somewhat flexible) through the tail hole

Interesting idea! I'm not looking to rehair my two babies at this time, even though their tails are a bit dry and frizzy. Do you know how to remove the old tails?

Real Chap Mei babies are not hollow inside, fake Chap Mei babies are but I think those also have removeable heads.

I was afraid of that I'm sorry i made a useless suggestion. Don't worry! Your suggestion was good and can be used in other cases ;D I think your suggestion can also still be used on these fakies but slightly modified. The knot at the base of the tail could just be glued into the hole
