I just uncovered my box of ponies from when I was a kid. I was going to give them to a friend who has kids... but I don't think I can. I'm here to leech your pony restoration knowledge, and share some photos of my herd

I'm happy you still love them. WELCOME I always use sweet smelling hand soap wipe down the symbols and a toothbrush scrub for body to clean mine and but NOT SO SOFTS SO SOFTS CAN'T GET VERY WET as far as I know

Gah! I think my so-soft fakes are probably the dirtiest ): Well, I'll see what I can do with them. I have some rust remover on it's way to me now so I can start really cleaning them up when it arrives. So many have a ton of rust on the tails.

Well I'm not a restorer I've never really dealt with rust
there is a restorer here but she hasn't been active for a couple weeks
I am personally scared to use strong cleaner products that some restorers recommend and think there could be long term plastic effects that might be bad from really strong stuff
but toothbrush scrubs with gentle soap will remove fantastic amounts of stains from plastic if you persist gently
yeah still WOULDN'T `KNOW` about So Softs, but sort of thought of something I'm slightly scared to give any so soft advice someone said that real mlp so softs are more durable than one would think but that might also depend on the kind of weather they have been in throughout there lives um and fakies might be more delicate but like I say I'd hate to give advice but if I had one I would try maybe VERY LIGHTLY dampen stained spots with a sponge and then firmly PAT it dry with a towel NO scrubbing
Repeat after THOROUGH drying , probably let sir dry for at least the rest of the day
like it might press some of the dirt out with careful firm towel patting after very lightly dampning stains
