So for those of you with second hand fakie collections (or fakies from your childhood) there may be some ponies in poor condition (marks, gross messy hair, all manner of gunk attached to them) I love to restore official ponies but I haven't gotten to most of my fakie collection yet. I'm planning to take before and after photos of them and post them here. You can join in if you'd like For those who want to restore their ponies but don't know how this is the absolute best website about restoration www.mlppreservationproject.com/You'll find out how to fix up every aspect of your fakies (or offical ponies) there! I don't have my camera with me to take good pictures but as soon as I do I'll add the pics to this post

I just got a fakie Dream Beauty from the vintage thrift store down the road that i want to restore. With her,it wouldn't be much due to the fact there's only missing wings[she looks like she had wings, but i'm probably just going to fill in the gap where they were and leave her an earth pony] and a few scratchs. I also have a fakie i'v had almost forever that i want to fix up.She was probably really majestic when i first got her,and even now she still is pretty,so i want to restore her to that time.Fix some of those scratchs, fix what i think is yellowing[they said sunfading should help with that],and i'm almost certain she has age spots, but i'm always loosing track of her and can't find her to check right now.Basicly,my favorite childhood fakie is in really bad condition and i have to fix her up.
