dIGITS originally was a pseudonym on an online journal... where it actually came from?... hmm... actually from a soap dispenser/soap called digits that I thought was a clever name.

Mine is a pet name Johnny called me one day and stuck! 'Bebe' yeah, cuz I'm a total babe, and 'Dasha' which we had previously discovered was a popular non-US version of my real name.

Hmmm...well 'Hali' is short for 'Halibut' which, was the name of my late pet rat whom I loved, I used Halibut as my e-name but perfer 'Hali' the 'cat' bit comes from the fact my fianceƩ thinks I'm as cute as a cat!

I have an interest in toxic and poisonous things, which is why I have this user name. I was (still am) using it on another board, that Knotty and a few others know me from, so I signed up under it.
Edit: OMG, this is my 69th post, lol!

I really couldn't think of a proper name. The Dutch "Love Pony" was the first MLP I went out of my way to buy.

Cool thread! I wonder about where a lot of usernames come from, so I like hearing everyone's story. ^_^ "Knotty" has a few meanings. First, I was sporting carefully maintained white-girl dreadlocks around the time that I started using the name, so the whole knotting-up process was a large part of my daily life. Second, I love making (and wearing) hemp jewelry with macrame knots. Third, "knotty" sounds like "naughty" when pronounced. The "Kitty" part simply comes from the fact that I've always been a cat lover.

"Buffy" was the name of a dog I used to walk out in 1997 and 1998. She was a very cute one, very afraid of everything and it takes a lot of time that to show her that I will not hurt her(she was not my own dog). One day, it was the 18th birthday of my very best friend, they found Buffy dead. She had an accident with a train. 2 days before she was gone and we have looked for her the whole time... It is still hard to think of and I'm missing her so much! Here is a picture of her

Mine's pretty boring I guess. Just my first name and the first 4 letters of my long last name!

starrypawz is a name I started using in 04. I was 12 and had joined deviantart. (I somehow got away with it, I think they had a piece of 'with permission' in place or something)
But essentially: My real name means Light. I like stars and stars are a kind of light to hence 'starry' I love animals, and dogs and wolves are my favourites hence 'pawz' the z? I just thought it looked cool. And the name has stuck since. XD

Hi! I'm new around here! Anyway, I use this screen name on a couple of sites. I play the online game City of Heroes and it is my favorite toon that I play. I play on the Protector and Freedom sites.

Well, since my screen name here has been changed, I figure I will post here a bit about the meaning.
Some years ago, in the real world, someone told me I had a mercurial personality. I don't know if I hold much stock in that, but I do like the way it sounds. I also can be a bit of a monster at times, and I like monsters... so somewhere a long the line, I got labeled the mercurial monster. I thought about using that name online, but I never really did, till recently when I joined up on a few places using that as my user name.
I plan on eventually changing my name to MercurialMonster on all the MLP boards I am a member of, but right now it is just here (and in a few non-pony places).
