In a boredom-spurred attempt to see just how far my artistic abilities have come in the past few years, I decided to redraw an earlier piece. First, the original. I loved the concept, but the finished copy looked horrible. I considered it a fail, but kept it just in case. Here's how it looked when I drew it a few years ago... Horrible, right? I think so. So, I spent two days working in GIMP to make the picture into something I can actually be proud of. Here's "Elemental v.2.0".... Progress is good.

It's so amazing and SUCH a great feeling redrawing old pics and seeing the improvement, personally I think both are great but you can definitely see you've gotten better. Gosh, her hips are to die for, what would I give for hips like that? lol

Gosh, her hips are to die for, what would I give for hips like that? lol Hehe, thanks. ^_^ A few people said her hips are too big, but I did that on purpose cause I really like the bottom-heavy female aesthetic of a small torso and large hips.

I definitely like bottom-heavy figure on women best myself, just something more womanly about that than top-heavy [Though, any body shape is nice!]
